This week's Make & Take card was created by Scrap Arts' very talented designer Wendy Rochon, and it is so perfect for any andevery occasion, especially Mother's Day, hint, hint!

Colour Coded Blending Tools!

Similar to the Tim Holtz blending tools, only without the handles (so they store more easily), this blending tool set contains eight colors:  Black, Brown, Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red.  Constructed of sturdy wood with easy-grip contoured edges, each tool features a laminated color label on the top (as well as each end) so you can easily tell which tool to use with which color family.  The velcro surface securely holds a foam pad (included) that will withstand hundreds of uses yet can easily be replaced if it ever wears out.  Great for edging paper and cardstock pieces, these amazing tools allow you to create soft blends of color on all your papercrafting projects.

To see blending tools in action, join Janni at Scrap Arts on Saturday, May 11th for her Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad class (Noon - 2:00) followed by her Tim Holtz Distress Stains class (3-5:00).  Janni will demonstrate how to use blending tools, as well as cover many other techniques in these classes.

With Scrap Arts' 7th Birthday approaching we've realized that we have a lot of stuff we have 'hoarded' and it's time to PURGE!

So this Thursday, Friday and Saturday we'll have boxes on the studio tables filled with a whole bunch of crafty stuff! There will be a $ free box,  $1 boxes, $2 boxes, $3 boxes, $4 boxes, $5 boxes, and a $1,000, 000 box (don't we all wish!!)

And as the boxes start to get low on stuff we'll fill it with more stuff, until we can purge no more, and hoard no more!
