SCRAP ARTS: Class Samples and Schedule

Our philosophy is to provide you with an exceptional environment that will stimulate your creative spirit. Our classes are very reasonably priced and class size depends on the complexity of the class, so the maximum we will accept in a class will be 3-8 people, as we believe that everyone in our classes deserves individual attention. The talented SA designers strive to develop original designs that will teach you new techniques that you'll be able to use with your own fabulous creations!

If you see a class that you would love to do, but the dates and times don't work with your schedule, please give us a call at 604-980-8811 and we'll try to arrange a date and time that works for you!

Altered Altoid Tin Project $30

We are delighted to welcome Janni to our Scrap Arts Design Team!

Janni is an experienced artist and designer and we are absolutely thrilled about all the classes she'll be teaching at Scrap Arts!

In the Altered Altoid Tin Project class you will be creating a fabulous hinged tin and mini, (very mini!) album, (you'll be doing the cover of the album in class, and the rest of the album can be finished at home) using crackle, alcohol inks, distress inks, tons of embellishemnts and much more!

Janni is only doing this class once in May and space is limited, so please sign up quickly!

Caged Beads Chainmaille Bracelet Workshop $30

Leslie is back and is excited about teaching us how to make one gorgeous 'caged bead' chainmaille bracelet, way different from the others we've done! Included in the class will be the chain rings, beads, (lots of stunning colours for you choose from!) and the silver toggles for the clasp, and we also have jewellery pliers for you to use! So you won't need to bring anything to this class, except maybe a pair of glasses, and we suggest that you don't drink too much coffee beforehand!!!

Gift Card Holders! $25

We are thrilled to have Diane Green join us as a new member of our Scrap Arts Design Team!
Diane brings a whole new perspective on 'gift giving' with her fabulous gift card holders!
In this brand new class you will be creating four unique 'vessels' for individual gift cards, perfect for teacher gifts, Father's Day, birthays, graduation gifts, etc!

'Boys to Men' Card Class $25

I know the title of this new class sounds like a cheesy boy band, but I think it describes the four masculine cards perfectly! In this class we'll be playing with heat embossing, layering, making a 'step' card and learning lots of tips and tricks!

'By the Sea' Mini Album $25

Wendy, (otherwise known as the Queen of the Mini Album) has once again designed a fabulous mini album that is absolutely delightful! The colours and design make you instantlythink of seaside vacations, enjoying a holiday cruise, or going on a boating experience! It's the perfect mini album for all those photos you have from any ocean adventures!

Miniture Garden $40

In this class we'll be creating our own little tiny garden, a special wee place where fairies might hide!

The image above isn't the class sample, that will be coming soon, and will have wrought iron garden furniture, mini plants, gardening tools, and much more. Everyone's garden will be unique and all supplies are included in this class! This project would make a wonderful Mother's Day gift!

'Create with Cricut' Tutorial Class $30

Do you have a Cricut machine and hardly use it 'cause you're not too sure about it's capabilities and possibilites? Then this is the perfect class for you! In this class you will bring your Cricut machine, (basic Cricut only), cutting mat, original cartridge, and lots of scrap papers! We will be playing and experimenting, along with learning how to use your machine to it's full potential!

Glitter Painting Card Class $25

Have you ever wondered how fine glitter can stay on paper and not come off? Have you ever wondered how to colour the glitter?I'm sure you're not losing any sleep over these mysteries, but if you have ever 'wondered' then this is the perfect class for you! In this class we'll be learning the 'burnished velvet technique,

painting and colouring glitter, learning all about 'peel-off's', and making four amazing cards!

Mixed Media Mirror Collage $30

Using Glimmer Mists, Diamond Glaze, inks, transfer sheets, and a buffet of 3 dimensional items,

Our newest designer, Wendy, has once again designed an exceptional 'mini album' creation with her vintage 'CARTE POSTAL'!

Wendy is becoming a designer with a following, her vintage flavored mini album classes sell out quickly,

and are extremely unique and easy to re-create once you've taken her class.

Her newest design is full of hidden mystery pockets and folds, and stamped

with patterns reminiscent of Paris circa 1930, this is an amazing work of art not to be missed!

We are so delighted to welcome Wendy Rochon as a new designer for Scrap Arts!

Wendy has created a stunning 'clutch purse' mini album that would be the most perfect gift for a teacher, girlfriend, mother, daughter, etc! Wendy's sample is done in blacks and creams, but you will be given a choice of colour pallettes, so you could do yours the same as Wendy's, or create your own unique album.
